Crypto VC and the overall polarizing figure goes by many names, “Crypto Jesus” being one of them. For some reason, this Holy Hodler always finds himself swimming in the tricky waters of controversy. COINBASE COMES UNDER FIRE; CRYPTO JESUS STANDS UP TO DEFEND
The past couple of weeks have been rough for Coinbase. The popular crypto exchange has been under fire recently due to a scandal involving the recent acquisition of Neutrino. Employees from Neutrino were involved with a controversial software organization called the Hacking Team. In response to the #DeleteCoinbase, Roger Ver went on Twitter to say “Coinbase has done more to drive cryptocurrency adoption than just about any other company. The popular exchange has helped millions discover crypto with their user-friendly and innovative exchange. So what’s next?
CRYPTO JESUS; WHAT’S NEXT FOR CRYPTO?
Seeing as Roger Ver is a major voice in the community, and has made bold predictions before, does his opinion hold weight? Many investors seem to think so. As a result, crypto lending platforms and exchanges are reporting increased activity despite the bearish market. FinTech startup YouHodler for example recently added XLM to their large list of collateral options for crypto lending. The Stellar community has responded positively as the market shows slow signs of recovery. Is it time to take out a crypto backed loan in preparation for at bull run? Crypto Jesus seems to think so.
