Noble Ant, an accelerator for blockchain startups, aims to sell Noble Ant tokens (NANT) for a chance to participate in a distributed venture capital opportunity on a virtual demo day. To get in, the startups will have the chance to submit applications to be rejected/accepted by Noble Ant.
Blockchain Technology mentioned in the Bible
With the advent of blockchain and its potential applications, one asks the question, was blockchain technology prophesied in the Bible?
Mark for Buying/Selling
Inside the King James Version of the Bible, Revelations 13:16-17 contains information about the mark to purchase during the end times:
16 And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads:
17 And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.
Large Scale Economics
One used to read this and think, “How can this be done on such a large scale? You would need a centralized authority with people working around the clock to verify transactions, a system that is hugely reliant on bureaucrats.”
With the whitepaper published by Satoshi Nakamoto, one begins to understand that with blockchain technology and distributed ledger, there can be a decentralized ledger system that allows a much larger capacity of information that can be verified cryptographically, without the need to trust a certain centralized organization.
The above Biblical verses beg the question: Does the effectiveness of the mark come into being, due to the ability of blockchain to record tremendous amounts of information in a decentralized fashion? Does the mark allow those people to record their purchasing transactions on a blockchain database?
Moreover, the need for blockchain is based on rejection of centralized institutions. This allows people to NOT trust one another. If you are spiritual, you will know that trust is inherently necessary to establish relationships with one another and God. Without trust, you can neither have intimacy with one another nor with God.
Thus, blockchain pushes people to destroy relationships within the fabric of society. This is the beginning of the end times as prophesied!
