This post is not about the online flight booking service Google Flights… We are talking about conspiracy theories related to Aviation. The famous search engine often features mysterious stories. And here is the list of top 3 of them.
Number One: Plane in the Lake
Not long ago, Google Earth captured what appeared to be a plane in the bottom of the lake Harriet in Minneapolis. Officials had no record of a plane crash in that area, which made the whole situation even creepier…
Shortly after the news went viral, Google Maps representatives gave a comment in which they stated that “Fast-moving objects like planes often show up in only one of the many images we use for a given area. When this happens, faint remnants of the fast-moving object can sometimes be seen.”
Number Two: Malaysia Airlines Conspiracy Theories
Google is full of various conspiracy theories most of which are ludicrous, to say the least. In this case, however, the stories seem to be logical and realistic.
We all remember the multiple crashes of Malaysia Airlines planes. One of the theorists suggests that one plane (that crashed in Ukraine) was hijacked by a Russian SpecOps officer, another theory blames the U.S. Military for allegedly shooting down the plane in the middle of Indian Ocean.
Number Three: Google Flights on 9/11
The last but not the least theory refers back to the 9/11 attack. After closely analyzing the data, some conspiracy theorists suggested that the event was fully organized by the government.
